Tuffield S. Kulas, Jr., of Holbrook, passed away December 20, 2015 at the age of 71. Born, raised, and
educated in Ware, Tuffield was a resident of Holbrook for 29 years. He was a machinist and also worked
at Ikea as a greeter. Tuffield was an Immediate Past Commander at the Amvets Post 51 in Randolph and
enjoyed gardening.

Beloved husband for 45 years of Laura (Carpenito) Kulas. Loving father of Jeff Kulas and his wife Kelli of
Brockton and Billy Kulas and his wife Persa of Randolph. Dear grandfather of Timothy, Ryan, and
Kassidy. Brother-in-law of William Carpenito and his wife Kathy of Bridgewater, Geraldine McGovern of
Hyannis, Mary Mackie of Wareham, Katherine Mason and her husband David of Taunton, Elaine
Carpenito of Attleboro, and the late Robert Carpenito. Also survived by many nieces, nephews,
grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 S. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook on Monday, December
28th at 8:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Holbrook at 9am. Relatives and
friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, December 26th from 4-7pm
and Sunday, December 27th from 2-4pm. Interment will be in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne. He
was a US Air Force Veteran.
